How FPL Prices Work
Every FPL player has a price. Knowing them well enough to add eleven in your head is another matter.
Each Fantasy Premier League player has a price, set before the season and adjusted as managers buy and sell him. Managers pick a 15-player squad within a £100m budget. In £70M FPL you draft a 4-4-2 whose hidden FPL prices total £70m.
The budget and squad
An FPL squad has 15 players: two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards, bought within a £100m budget. No more than three players may come from one Premier League club.
Why prices change
Prices move during the season in response to transfer activity. A player bought by many managers tends to rise; one sold by many tends to fall. Changes happen in small steps, usually £0.1m at a time.
When you sell a player whose price has risen, you receive the price you paid plus half of the rise, rounded down to the nearest £0.1m.

The £70M FPL draft
£70m across eleven players is an average of about £6.4m. Most players cost between £4.0m and £6.0m, so you will need a few premium picks. The winning window is narrow, £1.5m either side, which rewards knowing prices to the nearest half-million.
