442 Caps: The International Caps Draft
A cap is a senior international appearance. Your job is to find 442 of them in one team.
An international cap is one appearance for a senior national team. In 442 Caps you sign eleven Premier League players whose caps add up to 442, within 15 either side.
What counts as a cap
A player earns a cap each time he plays for his country’s senior team in a full international match. Appearances for youth or under-21 sides do not count. The term comes from the practice of awarding players an actual cap for representing their country.
The most capped players in the game
| Player | Club | Caps |
|---|---|---|
| Granit Xhaka | Sunderland | 151 |
| Mateo Kovačić | Manchester City | 117 |
| Alex Iwobi | Fulham | 100 |
| Ben Davies | Tottenham Hotspur | 100 |
| Andrew Robertson | Tottenham Hotspur | 97 |
Caps are taken from Transfermarkt in July 2026 and do not include matches played since.
How to reach 442
442 caps across eleven players is an average of about 40 each. Many squad players have few or no caps, so the target depends on finding experienced internationals, often older midfielders and defenders. Uncapped players count as 0 and are useful for fine adjustments late in the draft.
