Short answer

In 60 Seconds you get one category a day, such as “Bournemouth players”, and one minute to name as many as you can. Every correct name adds a point. When time runs out you see the players you missed and the percentage of today’s players you beat.

How to play

  1. Press start and the minute begins.
  2. Type a name and pick the player from the list. Correct answers are added straight away.
  3. When the clock hits zero, you see your total, every answer you missed and how you compare with everyone else today.

Categories cover clubs, positions and nationalities from this season’s Premier League squads, with anywhere from about 20 to 80 correct answers.

Tips for a bigger score

  • Type surnames. Three or four letters is usually enough to bring up the player.
  • Work through the team in order. Goalkeepers, back four, midfield, attack. A system beats random recall.
  • Do not stall. If a name will not come, move on and come back to it.
  • Learn from the missed list. The answers you missed today are the ones that win tomorrow.
